Our story begins in Ostuni, in the upper Salento
Italian tradition
The Martucci company, located on the slopes of the Ostuni hills, has been dedicated to the production of extra virgin olive oil for three generations.
We produce the oil with olives picked directly from the plants on our estate and we process them the same day using the cold pressing method.
Cold pressing is the method of producing oil through the process of crushing olives at a temperature below 27°C.
This technique is used to produce vegetable oils such as extra virgin and helps maintain their authenticity and typical fragrance.
Martucci extra virgin olive oil, with an acidity of less than 0.4% and the presence of natural antioxidant agents, is a unique product and strongly characterized by its territory.
The first distinctive feature of an extra virgin oil is its scent, identical to that obtained by crushing an olive between your fingers.
Martucci classifies its oil into two categories: Audace and Tradizionale.
